Job Description

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE COUNSELOR For the 2026-2027 School Year

10 MONTH POSITION

SALARY: $49,275  base salary with additional salary credit for master’s and graduate hours and additional benefits as outlined in the NTA Contract

ANTICIPATED START DATE:July 1, 2026

Job Qualifications

DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

• NYSED Certification: NYS School Counselor
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees)
