Minimum Qualifications:
Either:
A. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of clerical experience which shall have involved typing; or
B. Four years of clerical experience which shall have involved typing, or;
C. An equivalent combination of experience and/or training as outlined in “A” and “B” above
Other Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work well with other people; must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, poise and firmness; professional in attire and actions; be reliable, honest and prompt; knowledgeable of computers, office equipment and modern office practices; must have the ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to analyze situations and adopt an effective course of action; type a minimum of 50 words/minute; well versed in the use of the English language; familiarity or experience with Public Educational structure, regulations and procedures; must have superior organizational skills.
